Lahore (UNN) Provincial Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Fayyaz-ul-Hasan Chauhan said that revolutionary measures will be taken for the capacity building of media workers and artists and to bring the youth talent on front. To highlight the patriotism in the public, services of National Hero’s and Martyrs should be presented in films and dramas. Yesterday, he was talking, specially, to the print media workers in the office of the Director General, Directorate General Public Relation Punjab. DG, DGPR, Amjad Bhatti, Director News Chaudhry Arif, Director Electronic Media Abid Noor Bhatti and Deputy Director Zulfiqar were also presented on this occasion. Provincial Minister said that programs like Talent Hunt will be held to bring new talent in front in Punjab. Soon, the Punjab Idol program will be launched with the help of Punjab Government and Private Sector, for which a proper advertising will be made and in this program including Lyrics, folk and songs other categories will be incorporated. For Punjab Idols Auditions will be made in eight divisions of art council. After which, competitions will be held at the Al-Hamrah Hall and those who succeed in Grand Finale will be rewarded. He said that Martyr Maqbool Hussain was a great soldier. Programs to tribute the Martyrs in eight divisions of art councils will be held from 6 to 12 September. Executive Director Al Hamrah Hall Art Council, Capt. (R.) Ata has been given a task to produce a drama on the life of Martyr Maqbool Hussain. The draft will be final until September 15, after which it will be launched. Fayyaz-ul-Hasan Chauhan said that films and plays are being made against Pakistan in India, so, the need is to promote patriotism in Pakistan, so that, the new generation should be aware of its national heroes and martyrs sacrifices.
